You are probably familiar with South American tropical wood species. Jolyka’s Bolivia 2003 Study Trip offers you a unique opportunity to get an inside look at the tropical forest ecosystem, FSC certification and JOLYKA Hardwood Flooring production as well as an in-depth view of Bolivia and its fascinating culture.

Air fare with maximum luggage allowance of 55 lbs. per person, hotel room, transportation within Bolivia, meals (with exception of meals on free days or free afternoons); Beverages and hotel mini-bar consumption are not included. Tour guide/sightseeing is conducted in English.

Visas / Documentation

.

US citizens need only a valid passport for entry into Bolivia – a visa is not required (carrying a photocopy of your passport separately when you travel abroad is always recommended to alleviate problems in case of loss). Travel and trip cancellation insurance should be arranged independently with your own insurer.

Vaccinations

.

A 10-year yellow fever vaccination is recommended. Please contact your public health department regarding other preventive measures.

Climate

.

During this trip, we will travel through climate zones that range from approximately 59° F in La Paz, which is 12,090 feet above sea level to approximately 83° F in Santa Cruz, 1,444 feet above sea level (average temperature). We recommend light clothing (natural fibers) for the Amazon lowland and Autumn clothing for the highlands.
